The Federal Trade Commission’s PrivacyCon event will be held tomorrow, Jan. 12, 2017, from 9 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. (ET). Speakers will include FTC Chairwoman Edith Ramirez and Director Jessica Rich of the Bureau of Consumer Protection.
The event will feature research presentations and policy discussions that cover a wide variety of privacy topics and will include researchers from universities and other institutions from across the nation.

PrivacyCon will be held in the auditorium at the FTC’s Constitution Center offices, 400 7th Street SW, Washington, DC.
Registration and security screening will open at 7:45 a.m. and the event will begin at 9 a.m. The event is free and open to the public. Seating is on a first-come-first-served basis. Attendees will be screened by security personnel and will need to bring a government-issued photo ID, have your bags x-rayed and go through a metal detector. |
